Our library is central to implementing, enriching and supporting the teaching and learning program of our school. Our library provides a wide range of relevant resources, services and technologies to satisfy the varied curriculum and recreational needs of its users. Our staff is proactive in developing information literate students and supporting an information literate community.

Our library promotes a reading culture and provides opportunities for users to engage in a variety of literature activities. Our school staff encourages students to read to support their academic learning and to read for pleasure. By encouraging a regular borrowing routine we help our students become personally connected to books and to learn how literature teaches us about our lives, the lives of others and the world in which we live.

”Children who read for pleasure are likely to do significantly better at school than their peers”, according to new research from the Institute of Education (IOE) Sep 2013
